Description tjahnsen 2008-05-01 12:31:48 UTC
It ought to be a way to export all the preference settings to one file for archiving and backup, which can be imported in one easy step. It can both be used for
backup, but it would also be a great help when you have multiple machines with NetBeans, or want to use a common coding standard within an organisation.
It would also make it easier to upgrade NetBeans: as it is now, it will only try to import a previous version's settings the first time the new version is launched.

Hi tjahnsen,
thank you for your report. Your setting are saved in "userdir" directory - see comment in issue 145517.
