This issue also blocks propagating error badges for error highlighting. (There are no badges in error highlighting yet; as soon as this issue is fixed, it will be possible to add badges for syntax errors and propagate them to folders and projects)
I believe this one cannot be properly fixed until http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=121295 (It shoudl be possible to associate a logical folder with a directory) is implemented. And it is not in the 6.5 plans. I will mark this issue dependent on 121295 and also downgrade it to P3.
I don't insist on fixing this in 6.5. But I'm concerned with the dependency on the physical folders (#121295). As I understand, the #121295 says that it should be *possible* to associate one with another. What if there is no physical folder associated with a logical one - does this mean that in this case badges can won't be propagated (even after you fix both IZs)? From end user point of view this is definitely incorrect.
