Hi Right now there is support for only 2 debugging methods: 1. Load and execute a program using the local debugger. 2. Attach to a local process. GDB has support for a third method: gdb + gdbserver. On the remote server you execute gdbserver (either attach to an existing process or start a new one - this would be the user responsibility). Netbeans on the other side will start gdb and issue the command "target remote HOST:PORT" (similar to what it does when attaching to a local process). After these steps debugging will continue as usual. The UI should be similar to the Java debugger UI for remote debugging. Or
