Description ulfzibis 2008-06-23 22:38:31 UTC
On first start of NetBeans Dev 200806190009 it asks for import of 5.5 settings instead of 6.1 settings.
Comment 1 Jiri Prox 2008-06-24 07:10:29 UTC
Were 6.1 setting stored in default location? What was the name of 6.1 userdir?
Comment 2 ulfzibis 2008-06-24 11:49:15 UTC
IMHO it's standard:
C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\ich\.netbeans\6.1
Comment 3 ulfzibis 2008-06-24 11:54:04 UTC
IMHO the importer should be able to extract the paths from *\etc\netbeans.conf
Comment 4 Jana Maleckova 2008-06-26 10:16:18 UTC
reassign to core.
If home dir contains userdir of IDE 6.0 or older, then userdir 6.1 is not offered for importing into 6.5

Please resolve issue 42157 + issue 55647.
... so we could forget those problems forever (they had come up recurrent for each new version of NB IDE).
