When you try to change a checked in file that is under version control in Clearcase, a dialog appears prompting for the
action to take (hijack,checkout, cancel). If you cancel the dialog, the file is not checked out, but it is modified in
the editor anyway. 

What I would expect is that if the dialog is cancelled, the file should be left untouched.

Hmm OK that's a side effect of issue 131418
