NB Build:Dev-200808021401
JDK:jdk1.5.0
GF2.1-b44

Steps to reproduce:
-Install NB IDE
-Create a simple web application(Hello World)
-Right click on the project select New/Others/GlassFish/JDBC Connection Pool.
-suffix special character in the connection pool name and select Next>Back.

Error:
-Now the error message disappears and the special character changed from '*' to '_'

NOTE:
- This issue also happens while creating JMS Resource and Java Mail Resource.

this is not a p3 issue. The user had invalid data in the field and ended up with valid data in the field.  That looks
like a win for the user, to me...
