Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200808021401) Java: 1.5.0_13; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_13-121 System: Mac OS X version 10.4.11 running on i386; MacRoman; en_US (nb) Userdir: /Users/test/.netbeans/dev802 Selecting entire line and some text then choosing Cut (Command-x) or Edit->Cut then paste (Command-v or Edit->Paste) is not available, only Edit->Paste Formatted is available
Does the shortcut for paste work?
the keyboard shortcut doesn't work and Edit->Paste is disabled. I think multiple lines have to be "cut" Conversely, if multiple lines are copied, it seems that "Paste Formatted" is enabled for the keyboard shortcut. So, it looks like "cut" is not assigned to "Paste Formatted"
Random - it works for me.
It also seems to work in my dev build. Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 080811) Java: 1.5.0_12; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_12-b04 System: Linux version 2.6.22-15-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) Can somebody please double check this on Mac OS X? Thanks
Maxi or Jirko, could you please try to reproduce this on Mac OS X? Thanks
I don't know if this is related at all but why does typing Command-v paste while the menu for paste is disabled? Instead, the Paste Formatted menuitem (mapped to Command-Shift-v) is enabled. There appears to be some inconsistency here. Could it be that at some point, typing Command-v stops working ?
Since there is no way to reproduce this, we will have a look LATER. --- Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20081015090813) Java: 1.6.0_07; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 1.6.0_07-b06-57 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.5 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb)
