Not 100% reproducible.
Steps to reproduce:
- open sample AnagramGame application;
- launch Profile action;
- go through all dialogues and click Run button to start profiling session;
- when Profiler Window is opened wait until Take Snapshot button is available and click it immediately (you should do it
very fast).
Error window appears with the following message: "Failed to obtain results snapshot. Data is not available yet."

Workaround: click OK button on Error window and click Take Snapshot button again.

I am not able to reproduce it. :-(
Can you please try to run netbeans with 
-J-Dorg.netbeans.lib.profiler.wireprotocol.WireIO=true
and attach message.log. It should contain information, which can show us what is wrong.
