Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200809021401) Java: 1.6.0_10; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 11.0-b15 System: Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86; Cp1250; cs_CZ (nb) 1. Open Tools>Options>Fonts&Colors, Syntax tab 2. Select some element in a Category list 3. Expand Foreground/Background combobox and select "Custom..." 4. Click to some color (or anywhere in a dialog) -> nothing happens (dialog is focused, combobox Foreground/Background now looses focus and is closed) 5. Click for the second time -> color is finally selected Color should be selected on the first click (step 4). This behavior is more visible under Windows where a "Swatches" tab is in the color customizer...
Umm, it seems to work fine on my Ubuntu/Gnome. As soon as I do #3 the popup part of the combobox is hidden and the combobox shows 'Custom...'. Then (#4) I choose a color in the dialog and click OK. The combobox is then updated to show the chosen color. Is this working differently on Windows?
After crosschecking with pchytil we conclude that the problem is probably GTK l&f specific - is it possible (could you please try GTL l&f, if you don't use it already)?
