The project configuration need to be updated in this case, in project properties there is reference to source folder,
which has to be corrected,

I'm not sure if this a bug or enhancement to perform the update automatically

I've lost a bit can you add some more details?
I've created the EJB module
I've selected the Source Packages node and select Properties from its pop up menu. This leads to Project Properties/Sources dialog.
Now I am in doubt. I cannot change the Package Folder as it's read only, I can only remove it or add another one. I can change the
Label, a display name. But if I change it to 1 it works fine.
What I did wrong?
Thanks

I think you have selected project properties. Read the following step which says NOT PROJECT PROPERTIES
2) Goto source packages folder and right click and select properties(NOT project proprties)

I am afraid I am lost too: if I select "Properties" from the pop-up menu (I will attach a screenshot), Project
Properties are open. I see no other Properties in the popup menu (not even in submenus of the pop-up menu). If I open
Properties window (using Window/Properties), both Name and Source Root properties are read-only, and so cannot be changed.

I'm afraid I have only one Properties, which opens the Project properties dialog. See attached screenshot.

The rename must be performed in files view, but as I've written I'm not sure if it is supported usecase -> downgrading to P3

Resolving all issues with milestone "future" as LATER. If you feel strongly that
it should be implemented please reopen and set the target milestone to "next".
