Profiler cluster has always been included in the "-javase" zip distribution of NetBeans IDE. E.g. in 7.0M1 http://bits.netbeans.org/netbeans/7.0/m1/zip/netbeans-7.0_m1-200812180001-javase.zip It is not the case for the latest development builds e.g. http://bits.netbeans.org/netbeans/trunk/nightly/2009-02-08_14-01-51/zip/netbeans-trunk-nightly-200902081401-javase.zip It is also not included in the 'trunk' builds on deadlock http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/trunk/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/nbbuild/dist/zip/ Is it by design or through an oversight? Another issue - moduleCluster.properties is not included in the latest daily zip distributions though it has always been there.
See issue #145198: the profiler cluster cannot be included in the java cluster config yet because of the profiler.j2ee.* modules. My suggestion was to move these to the enterprise cluster. moduleCluster.properties is used during the build but AFAIK not useful in the build artifact. *** This issue has been marked as a duplicate of 145198 ***
