I logged in successfully on my main machine at home this morning (and sent some chat messages), and when I came to work I also logged in successfully on my laptop. But on my workstation, with the same credentials, I just get an error icon with no error message (see screenshot). I logged off of each machine after getting a successful login.

I was having the same problem the other day - but as I was about to file the issue it started working. I thought it was a network outage at Kenai. However, an appropriate error message in NetBeans would be appreciated.
Hi Glenn, I believe this might be the same issue as http://www.netbeans.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=162637 - the problem could be in HTTPS settings of your proxy server, if you use proxy with some specific config at work (which sounds plausible). Try starting NB with: ./netbeans -J-Dkenai.com.url=http://kenai.com and see if you can log in (you won't be able to do almost anything else as other services need https but just to see if the issue is there). --pd
Anyway, the error message should be there...
