The last NPS ends with com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKNativeEngine being called from TabbedContainer. Reassigning to our UI experts, however I doubt there is something we can do to speed this up on the NetBeans side.
I will move on having the GTK laf disabled at first, just to see whether this makes a difference...
