Scenario: - Create empty C++ project - Select 'Output Window' as console type - Add such C++ file #include <stdlib.h> #include <stdio.h> int main(int argc, char** argv) { throw 1; return (EXIT_FAILURE); } - Run project ==> Output in IDE: RUN FAILED (exit value 134, total time: 918ms) Output in console: -bash-3.2$ ./CppApplication_1/dist/Debug/SunStudio-Solaris-x86/cppapplication_1 Abort (core dumped) I want to see 'Abort (core dumped)' message in IDE also.

This is not a bug and requires quite a few efforts. The 'problem' is that this message comes from shell, not from a.out. As a 'workaround' user may: a) switch to external terminal. b) in 'Run Command' specify '/bin/sh -c "${OUTPUT_PATH}"' In this case we use shell and the message is printed out. Transferring to enhancement.
