This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
At this moment, FTP-account info (login/password) are stored in text files. Password is coded with a simple shift cipher (with substitution = 13th), which is really unsecure. I suppose, there should by used at least more complicated cipher
There's a warning about it and some more general solution should be used (IMHO any kind of keystore for NB should be implemented).
Will be fixed after bug #173413 is closed.
Fixed, Filipe please verify, it is _very_ important (FTP/SFTP passwords should be removed from nbproject directory but should not be lost). Thanks a lot. http://hg.netbeans.org/web-main/rev/944995cf3646
