Description alex_pst 2009-10-05 10:41:01 UTC
how to reproduce:

 * launch NB
 * close all source files opened in Editor if any
 * select menu View > Show Line Numbers
 * open and Java file to edit it

Line numbers aren't shown.
Menu option "Show Line Numbers" is unchecked

First, line numbers should be hidden when "Show Line Numbers" is unchecked! Is it typo, or?
This feature woks correctly for me.

Reproducible in NB 6.7.1

1. open Java file in editor
2. verify that line numbers are shown
3. close the file
4. menu View -> uncheck Show Line Numbers
5. reopen Java file -> line numbers are shown but they shouldn't be

This seems to be working fine in 6.9dev builds.
