It seems that all of the IDE shortcuts have changed between in 3.3Beta4 and I am not able to edit them in the options dialog. Is there some way to edit the shortcuts or restore the previous defaults I'm missing? NetBeans IDE, Release 3.3 Beta 4 (Build 200111121441)
You can change shortcuts via Tools, Keyboard Shortcuts. The feature is to allow export or import of shortcuts sets. This will be very usefull. Changig the description field and ccing ui team.
Target milestone -> 3.3.1.
Target milestone -> 3.4
Reassigning to Jiri. Please evaluate, thanks.
Eval: It would be implemented the Keyboard Shortcuts panel is added the Export/Import buttons. The format on exported file can be overtook from core/mf-layer.xml. A class provides this stuff should be added and a UI change of the Keyboard Shortcuts panel should be done. I think that implemented feature may be a asset it allows make the Shortcuts ala JBuilder and the like which can be contributed within community.
IMHO we should rather have a general ability (projects module?) to add a particular XML layer file into the org.netbeans.core.projects.SessionManager stack, which would permit not just keyboard shortcuts but other things to be made into "profiles".
it would be nice to also solve issue 15926 in one shot.
Right Jesse, import of shortcuts should == add a layer with their definition. Btw. Jiri, this used to be part of the UI profiles planed for Orion, is not it?
Target milestone was changed from '3.4' to TBD.
