This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
One of the most frustrating things for me in NetBeans is starting up a new session and having to click the "expand" button on all my projects - and then on each of the packages within that project. Even for moderate sized projects it can take a significant amount of time to do this. I recommend a context button to allow the user to "Expand All" under the selected item. e.g. on a "Source Packages" folder in a Java project, the button would expand all Java packages revealing their class files. On the Project, the "Expand All" button would expand all Java packages under the Source and Test packages, along with revealing the jars in the libraries - it would be advisable not to expand the jar contents.
Reassigning.
