I am sorry but checking the attached snapshots gives no idea what could have been wrong.

Some snapshots contain no data (the newer ones), one of the older ones shows

sun.awt.windows.WGlobalCursorManager.findHeavyweightUnderCursor[native](): 2892 / 2892
    sun.awt.windows.WGlobalCursorManager.setCursor[native](): 2997 / 2997

Where we can hardly do anything about it.

Closing the report as invalid.

this is not solved I believe. I was with netbeans open only, on a little file, selecting (with the mouse) a long line, but NOT that long (about 1000 chars long), that the slowness appear.
In idle, without doing nothing, and by having just a few file tabs opened (4 at this time), I never get less then 150m of 197mb ;

On last MAC - try to have a big file and select all it's contents and you will notice a blinking behavior, and a slow performance.

I did not say it is solved. I just said that the snapshots don't show anything fixable on NetBeans side. If you think this is a problem please reopen only after adding additional snapshot showing the same problem that will give me some real data to work on.
