The LibrariesChildren.createFileSourceGroup are called by a RequestProcessor. Why it's An AWT slowness? The AWT waits in Nodes, it probably waits on async node calculation. If so it should show a busy cursor. Anyway the  LibrariesChildren.createFileSourceGroup waits on FileSystem operation. From my point ov view it's cuased by intensive IO load, feel free to close.
