JLF recommendation for shortcut for navigating between shoft panes - F6.
The IDE uses this for execute. We need to provide a replacement 
shortcut for navigating between split panes - suggestion - 
Ctrl + Shift+ tab

i'm a little unclear on this -can't make out shoft panes :-). anyhow,
the only direct f6 reference i saw in the jlf was for switching
between split panes and that has a companion key of tab which i think
we cover...

well - tab is commonly used as the short cut to move
focus to next component - it might be worth supporting
another shortcut for navigating between split panes - 
the JLF recommended F6 would have been good, but as that is tied up 
in an important IDE function - we can use Ctrl + Shift + Tab
(I did manage to type split twice - once in the heading and 
once in the body :)

Currently there are two shortcuts:
Ctrl + Tab and Ctrl + `
