During install, if "migrate previous settings" is selected, existing platforms, (yes they are in the PATH), are not being detected.  They are working after a manual process is used to add these existing platforms.  Once this is performed, the settings for the projects of the previous version (6.8) show all the correct platform settings.

This is on a MAC using Snow Leopard 10.6

Thanks for filing this. As we discussed on the users list, I need to add logging to the platform manager to find out why the platform doesn't get detected. I'll ping you when there is a build with additional logging available.
