Today's build is unusable. Thrown over and over, stops GUI from responding. Regression between 6c5b6ed2225e and eed728104f48.

General tip for finding possible causes of regressions: hg log -r '::eed728104f48 & ! ::6c5b6ed2225e' -M -v finds the likely culprits, especially core-main #a9af868ff294.
