I installed NetBeans 7.0 RC1 with both bundled servers (Tomcat 7 & Glassfish 3.1) but only Glassfish is configured by default Product Version = NetBeans IDE 7.0 RC1 (Build 201103280000) Operating System = Mac OS X version 10.6.7 running on x86_64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_24 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 19.1-b02-334
Does it mean you - run installer - click Customize button - select GlassFish and Tomcat - finish installer - run NetBeans and if you want to create Java Web project there is only GlassFish server available? Or what are your steps?
I guess this is caused by ergonomics. The Tomcat will appear when you enable java ee, for example when trying to create Web Project. Glassfish is visible because it is split to generic part and technology specific parts (javaee, ruby).
