After submitting a new plugin to the Plugin Portal, the plugin does not immediately appear in the searchable list of plugins, and is essentially not discoverable. This is because approval is required. However, the plugin author is not clearly notified about this, and there is no clear indication that an approval is needed. The plugin detail page for such a plugin should make it very clear that the plugin is pending approval, before it appears in the master list of all plugins.
Petre, this information is available on the My Plugins page where in the Status cell it reads "pending approval". I assume this is not enough for you? What would be such clear and sufficient indication?
It's not about "enough for me" - this is not something I made up. This is something I heard from 3 plugin developers independently. I do not have the ambition to suggest particular UI - maybe the User Interface team (Jano) can help?

Jano, what is your opinion about this? Don't hesitate to add a reference type plugin to test the behavior. Thanks.
Hi, I have just added following mesasge which shows up after successful completion of the process. Your plugin was successfully registered.
Now it needs to be reviewed by our staff and approved in order to become publicly visible. This step can take up to several days but typically 12 hours. If it takes longer, please submit a ticket. We will inform you once your plugin gets available.

Thanks for your patience.
The NetBeans team
