Automatic projects do not show up in the update manager, no information seems to be available about whether this plugin is supported with NB 7 or not. The Freeform Projects had quite some flaws and everytime they were pointed out, somebody recommended using Automatic Projects. Now that I have changed to use Automatic Projects they seem to be not supported in NB 7 and therefore do not show up in the projects pane any more.
http://plugins.netbeans.org/plugin/37522/?show=true says that it is supported for NB 7.0, and 7.0 verification passed; yet it does not appear to be on the 7.0 PP update center, why I do not know. Workaround should be to download and install the NBMs manually from the aforementioned page.
Uhm, if I click "Download" on that page, I get the message "Error Plugin file missing on the file system." but no plugin.
Honzo, can you please investigate what happened? The plugin is neither in 6.9 nor in 7.0 module catalogue. Thanks.
fixed now
After reloading the plugin catalog, the Automatic Projects plugin showed up and could be installed. However, all my automatic projects are still gone. Their names show up in the left project pane while NB is starting up but as soon as NB gets responsive, the names disappear again. The Automatic Projects plugin is installed and activated.
Then, this is a question for Jesse. Jesse, can you please help Johann?

That is unrelated to this issue and should be filed separately. I would need steps to reproduce, your log file, your var/cache/autoprojects.properties, etc.
