Currently there is no easy way to open Windows Explorer to a file or folder visible in NetBeans. I believe this feature is an extremely useful addition to the following menus: * Right click a project, package, or file in Projects view. * Right click a folder or file in Files view. * Right click document tab for a file open in the editor.

I have made one as well. If you follow the instructions in Release Notes on the following page for configuring the custom Update Center, one of the available plugins will be Open Containing Folder. This plugin adds a menu item to the editor tab context menu labeled Open Containing Folder.
