Don't know whether there are many Mint users out there running Netbeans. But certain details quite don't work out on Mint: * Pull-down menu's are white - which sometimes are shown on top a white screen. Which is kind of merges the menu options with the source code. * Checked pull-down menu items are invisible. Probably white text on white background. * The smaller dropdown boxes are sometimes not rendered. That is, only the dropdown button is visible. Probably for the same reason: white on white.
If needed, I can provide screenshots of course :-)
please attach screen shot, thanks and also netbeans, jdk and os version

thanks for the screen shot can you pls try running swingset demo app (in your jdk folder) and compare how it looks?
Created attachment 112305 [details] Small comboboxes are not fully painted
please attach a screen shot of swingset demo app running under mint l&f and reopen, thanks
Created attachment 112496 [details] Screenshot of swing demo - as requested There is however nothing in the demo that shows the "squashed" comboboxes. It seems that the default size is okay. But when it's made smaller - as in the first screenshots - only the button is drawn.
please run the swingset demo again and switch to a tab showing a combo box. then attach a new screen shot, thanks
