when using wizard to create new TopComponent (Window wizard):
1. press "Redefine" button next to combobox with modes
2. press cancel on the dialog that shows

button "redefine" is disabled now

btw. I am not sure about my Netbeans version 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 - about dialog says: Build 201112071828
