This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 187199, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

User Comments:
GUEST: Moving files to another directory while background scanning of projects was happening. My source code and webserver are on different remote servers. My Netbeans client communicates to both via a VPN connection. Background scanning via the VPN takes ages ... at least a half hour every time. My internet connection is not slow though.



Maximum slowness yet reported was 3442 ms, average is 3442
