Description Alexander Danel 2002-04-04 13:22:33 UTC
I created an issue, and put in a description, but the description did not show up when I
used "return to issue" to check it. I had made a new observation that pertained to my
report, but the report could not be augmented.

I'm afraid I don't understand. issue 22102 does have
description txt, which looks fine to me - is there some
missing ?

Can you pls step by step explain what you did, and what
happened ? Pls feel free to file a test issue against
www to try to reproduce the problem. Thanks.

Update from Alexander :

--
Yes, the description is in the database, but does it show
up
when you browse on the web? In other words, I put the
description in, but couldn't see it, upon a later visit.
I was probably using Netscape that day, if it matters.
In fact, I don't think I was able to look at the
description
text for any of the issues; it was consistently blank.
--

Yes, the txt is visible on the web for me, in IE/Win, N4.7
on Win, Linux, and Solaris, and other common browsers
(Opera, Mozilla etc). I am not reading entries directly
from the db, only via my browser.

Please try to reproduce the problem - visit this issue in
your browser, and if you do not see the description, pls
let me know exact details of your browser, version, OS,
etc. Maybe a screenshot would help also ?

Thanks.
