This issue was reported manually by musilt2. It was looking for dependencies. onman: I created a new file in my project tree by clicking with the right mouse button on a subdir of the project's 'Source Files'. GUEST: download plugin GUEST: I used the hudson repository for jax-rpc plugin (http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/nbms-and-javadoc/lastStableBuild/artifact/nbbuild/nbms/updates.xml.gz). Deleted this repository solved my problem. GUEST: Slowness and lack of feedback in the update process. GUEST: The updater has 24 updates, and it is making Netbeans slow. "Please Wait While checking on Dependencies..." message never goes away. musilt2: Invoking update with >200 updates GUEST: Just noted many spell cheker errors in a classfile. GUEST: Panel designer up and running.... not doing anything in particular... GUEST: I added a new update centre and now it's running very slowly. GUEST: do nothing :/ just browsing internet :/ GUEST: Looking for plugin updates GUEST: update netbeans plugins, stuck on 'initializing the list of updates' GUEST: Update of IDE is always at 0% of progression There is no network traffic GUEST: The plugin installer doesn't get the list of dependent plugins Maximum slowness yet reported was 532164 ms, average is 58772

- have a catalog with e.g. > 200 updates - open PM - try to update, PM is scanning dependencies in AWT
Unfortunately, this is a stopper for beta -> beta2 update scenario, AWT can be blocked for > 1min, without giving proper response.
