Doing Java with Netbeans one has got an explicit javadoc window you could put on the screen. The javadoc then is readable even when the popup-javadoc is vanished already. Every Java-Programmer using a bunch of external libs likes this feature. I would appreciate to have the same for PHPdoc too! The elegant way would be having netbeans to treat the doc-Window as javadoc when in Javamode and to display PHPdoc when in PHP-Mode. If this might not be easily possible a supplemental PHPdoc-Window would be great. I do maintain a bigger PHP-Project here using larger LDAP,Database,... Classes and i do make intensive use of the phpdocs. I really would love it to see them when requiring such Objects in my sources in a discrete Doc Window!
Editor area, perhaps some SPI for Javadoc window would be needed. Thanks.
