The spellchecker is good but it would be great if it could spell check anything including PHP comments and string literals.  It would be very nice if spell checking was on demand such as highlight then have spell check as one of the right click options.  

NOTE: this is a specific request for PHP but would be nice in every code. This request is not fulfilled by the Java, Ruby/RHTML and HTML/XML spellchecker described here: http://wiki.netbeans.org/SpellChecker.

8.0.2 spell checker doesn't work on strings in html tags.  Thus cannot spell check alt tags.
