This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 220589, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 7.4 (Build 201310111528)

It's a problem with signing the Scala plugin, it doesn't belong in the Autoupdate code.

Btw. it works for me on NetBeans 7.4 - I can install Scala compiler without any problems.

I cannot reproduce it either. If somebody has steps to reproduce this exception, don't hesitate to reopen this bug.
