This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 166408, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

The IDE is waiting for native I/O operation to finish. There's no practical way to move this out of the EDT as it would lead to editor tabs being rearranged when the project owner of a document is actually calculated.
