Description _ gtzabari 2014-04-30 19:10:47 UTC
The keyboard shortcuts for the inline FIND/REPLACE dialog of the editor (accessed by hitting CTRL+H) need to be improved.

I frequently find myself needing to search for some text, replacing *most* instances but skipping others.

Currently, neither "Replace" nor "Next" have keyboard shortcuts so I am forced to use the mouse for this operation and it is quite slow for someone who is keyboard-centric.

This used to work in the past, but bug #222400 and older bugs caused this regression that was never fixed.

Note this issue is related to bug #222843 but isn't necessarily blocked by it.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.

Thanks for your cooperation,
