Created attachment 148093 [details] Independent navigator window At the moment, I use the navigator panel un-/dock and I open it with ctrl + 7 and I can navigate, not for all types (XML and HTML seems broken inside a Maven app but for this I will create an other ticket). But what I really like to see is a little window where I can open it via shortcut like Go To Symbol/File/Type and no the bevaiour for symbol is not what I'm looking for. After click on the matched property or whatever, the window should disappear. This behaviour is implemented in intelliJ and it is very handy. When I move the navigator panel to a separate window, it doesn't disappear after I click on the type. In intelliJ they have a structure panel, I think its the same as the navigator in nb and they have a second structure, you can call it via ctrl + F12. See my screenshot for what I mean. Regards Chris
