Using the remove surrounding code (CONTROL + DELETE) functionality opens an overlay that is not accessible to users using the Voice Over screen reader. The items are not read to the user and navigation of the items does not work with the standard Voice Over commands (VOICE OVER + ARROW) and clicking the items using the Voice Over (VOICE OVER +  SPACE) command does not work. Navigation attempts usually close the overlay.
