verified in 8.1 RC2 (Build 201510122201)
Product Version: NetBeans IDE 8.1 (Build 201510222201) Updates: NetBeans IDE is updated to version NetBeans 8.1 Patch 1 Java: 1.8.0_131; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 25.131-b11 Runtime: Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment 1.8.0_131-b11 System: Windows 10 version 10.0 running on amd64; Cp1252; en_US (nb) (Note on the above: It's an Intel 4770 CPU, not an AMD) I have just installed NetBeans 8.1 because 8.2 has several issues that are making it unusable. One of the few things that works in 8,2 is that my Glassfish installations (I've added two different versions - 4.1.1 and 4.1.2, as well as Payara 4.1.2.173) work, so I would think they would work in NB 8.1. When I try to add any of these installations in NetBeans 8.1, I get the error "Not a valid Glassfish server installation". I know they're valid, because they work in NB 8.2 (and as stand-alone). I attempted to update NB 8.1, but the updater says there are no updates. (Before anyone comments, if not for NB 8.2 throwing exceptions every 10 minutes and becoming unusable for coding and debugging, I would not be reverting to an older NB version.)
(In reply to Rohaan427 from comment #15) > I have just installed NetBeans 8.1 because 8.2 has several issues Fair enough. You can rename glassfish\lib\install\applications\__admingui\WEB-INF\lib\console-core-4*.jar to console-core-4.0.jar as a workaround.
