This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 236773, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related. Build: NetBeans IDE 8.1 (Build 201510222201) VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 25.60-b23, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.8.0_60-b27 OS: Linux User Comments: GUEST: Actually, nothing, took a few hours break during which it must have gone up with memory usage (some 1.6G) and CPU usage (some 90%). This is new for me and certainly would be very nice to not have to restart NetBeans every few hours or so due to this. At first thought it's related to a larger PHP project, but this was not open now, only two smaller size Java projects. May have to do with background dependency scanning. Sorry, cannot be more specific.
