I'm not sure while dev build this is associated with because the actual machine is at work (and I'm not there now) but it's probably something close to 200206280100 which I use at home. Basic problem: 1) Uninstall XML and Web module (all components) 2) Restart Netbeans (optional?) 3) Reinstall Web module 4) Create new JSP file 5) JSP coloring is missing along with all its associated components. Furthermore, going into the component install/uninstall listing; JSP coloring is listed under "Bridges" and is disabled with no way to enable it. The entire WEB module is installed. Please close this issue if this has been solved recently.
Fixed version (3.1 -> 3.4)
It is result of recent changes when we enhanced JSP editor with ability to color XML tags. Rather than having too many modules that would be confusing [editor / core web funcionality / JSP editor (bridge) / XML text editor / JSP-XML editor (bridge)] we have only one bridge now. Unfortunately the issue now depends on Module clusters discussion that was postponed to next release. Another possibility is to make dependency soft (search for Editor kit by MIME type). This also requires some work.
