This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 181584, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 8.1 (Build 201510222201)
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 25.77-b03, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.8.0_77-b03
OS: Windows 7

GUEST: didnt like the name of a file so I copied its contents (concerning JFrame GUI stuff) and pasted it to another file appropriately named. Then I tried to run the file forgetting to rename my class and method

The whole time in AWT is spent in
sun.awt.Win32GraphicsDevice.getMaxConfigsImpl[native]()
