Description David-john Burrowes 2002-09-06 01:03:00 UTC
A recent conversation made the point that the
"class" breakpoint type exposes details which
aren't necessarily intuitive to the casual user
(class preparation), and puts what many would
expect there into the method breakpoint type.

I agree that there is something to this point. I
am not sure, however, what the right solution here is.

I also note, however, that the method breakpoint
type seems rather confusing at the moment with its
inclusion/exclusion checkbox and the "all methods"
checkbox and everything else.

This issue is just to mark that HI/UI should go
through the current breakpoint design and consider
whether there should be some reorganization of the
information and functionality there.

Should be evaluated by UI team.
