I wished to install new modules from localy stored
NBM files, but I can't browse to them 'cause they
are stored in my $USERDIR/update/download~ directory

There were entered similar bugs for various
modules eg. issue #22961
So you'll find there much more info if it isn't
clear here:-)

I enablad the . dirs in localy installed nbms.

verified, and changing revision to 3.5 which should be there more
luckily then 3.1
