In the default NetBeans distro, a number of nodes
in the Templates
tree have only one subitem (such as "Jar archives
-> JAR Recipe").
It would be preferable to suppress the "Jar
archives" node unless
there are more subnodes.

With the changes in issue 28623, the amount of
work to determine
if a subnode of the tree has children will be
trivial, so this should
not adversely impact performance in any
significant way.
