If you have no package declaration in your .java file then it goes into what the JLS calls the "unnamed package" (JLS2 7.4.2). Perhaps we should be consisten with the JLS and call the placeholder in the Projects tree unnamed package instead of the default package?
The problem I see with the "unnamed" package is that the first thing the user would do is to give it a name. The problem is that we don't allow to rename the default package. Otherwise I think I like "unnamed" more then "default". So if we allow the user to rename it, then I am fine with "unnamed". Btw, why don't we allow to rename the default package if we allow to rename other packages?
> Btw, why don't we allow to rename the default package if we allow to rename other packages? Default package is something like "/" folder on Linux. It is not a good idea to put any files in this folder and you cannot rename it.
Let's leave it default package.
