User should be able to select which required projects will be opened when opening the project. There might be check box for each required project and one check box for all of them. Currently if user has project that requires 10 other project and wants only 2 of them to be opened, he has to open all and then close 8 of them which is kind of tedious.
Desirable but certainly not P1.
If I want to work with netbeans projects and there is more than 10 dependent projects (and I really don't need 80% of them) it's P1 RFE for me. But as you like.
So close the ones you don't want open.
Yes I know - Why to do it easier if I can do it more complicated :-)
I'm just saying you're not *prevented* from doing anything today, it's just a little more awkward. So not P1.
Cf. issue #50683.
Rather use #50683 if you consistently want to open the same subset.
