Description valeredejardin 2005-05-26 13:11:57 UTC
At startup, NB 4.1 loses the status of expanded projects/packages in the
projects window.
I mean, I am working on several files and several packages. Packages on which I
am working are expanded. If I close and restart NB, every project is now collapsed.

Althought I can quickly reexpand the package with "contextual menu into
editor>select into>projects" (that is a very nice feature), this defect is
somehow deceiptive.

If you want to keep expansion, please use next switch on your command line or
write to the netbeans.conf file :
-J-Dnetbeans.keep.expansion=true

We've turned off this feature by default, because it takes long time to startup
with a lot off expanded folders and looks ugly (see issue 55701)
