Description Marian Petras 2005-08-11 16:43:50 UTC
After discovering bug #62171 ("Wrong text in confirmation dialog of Module
Manager"), I pressed button "No" in the confirmation dialog (no, do not activate
or deactivate any modules) and closed the Module Manager. I reported the bug and
then tried again:

I once again tried to disabled the "Database" modules. So I opened the Module
Manager and unchecked the checkbox in the first row (Database modules). Now the
dialog was totally mad:

Activation of Web Services Core will also activate the following modules:

      +-------------------------------------
      | J2EE Refactoring module
      | Web Services Core
      | Web Services Developer

      ...

I tried to disable the "Database" group of modules and the dialog asks me to
confirm activation of "Web Services Core"!

I press button "No". The confirmation dialog disappears and another one appears,
containing (probably) the correct set of modules:

Activation of the selected modules will also disable the following modules:

       +----------------------------
       | J2EE DD Loaders
       | Enterprise JavaBeans (EJB) Module Projects
       | Sun Java System Application Server 8.1
       | Database Explorer
       | ...

The behaviour slightly varies. Sometimes the confirmation dialog displays the
correct set of modules. Some times it displays the correct set of modules but
reappears after pressing the No button. And sometimes it displays a wrong set of
modules as described in the initial report.

Marian, this dialog has been fixed a number of times in recent days. I hope it's
fixed. I'm gonna to close as fixed, if I'm wrong please reopen and describe what
fails. Thanks
